The Ackman & Ziff Family Genealogy Institute launches as the nation’s only permanent Jewish genealogy center.

The Center’s 10th Anniversary is celebrated with a one-year capital campaign that successfully retires its mortgage.

The Collection Management & Conservation Wing debuts as the home of the Shelby White & Leon Levy Archival Processing Laboratory,

The David Berg Rare Book Room opens, highlighting six centuries of Jewish literary history.

The Center secures an endowment challenge grant from the Arcadia Fund, ensuring long-term sustainability for digitization and preservation initiatives.

Museums and libraries convene at the symposium Confronting Antisemitism: Activating Archives, Libraries, and Museums in the Fight Against Antisemitism.

How Jews Became Citizens: Highlights from the Sid Lapidus Collection explores antisemitism through a global lens.

The Center inaugurates its Jewish Public History Forum and marks Israel’s 75th anniversary with a symposium entitled, Zionism and American Jews.

Idealizing Zion: Visualizing the Jewish State launches a new series of exhibitions in collaboration with the Blavatnik Archive.

JewCE! The Jewish Comics Experience becomes the premier Jewish comic convention, bringing together fans, creators, and industry professionals.

The Center inaugurates its Institute for Advanced Research, providing fellowship funding for global scholars.

Ruth’s Bookstore opens, thanks to Ruth and Sid Lapidus, inviting visitors to take home a piece of Jewish history.
