New York, NY (January 06, 2025)

The Center for Jewish History (CJH) is proud to announce its selection to join the Bloomberg Philanthropies Digital Accelerator Program, a prestigious initiative designed to strengthen the digital infrastructure of cultural organizations. This program helps organizations enhance operations, drive revenue, increase fundraising, engage broader audiences, and deliver dynamic programming.

The Center for Jewish History is one of 200 nonprofit organizations accepted into the program’s newest cohort, which includes cultural institutions representing a diverse array of artistic disciplines and organizational sizes across 52 U.S. cities and 28 U.K. cities.

"Joining the Bloomberg Philanthropies Digital Accelerator Program represents a pivotal moment for the Center for Jewish History. This opportunity will empower us to enhance our technological capabilities, expand our reach, and deepen engagement with our audiences. We look forward to creating a more seamless and enriched experience for visitors, supporters, and partners alike,” said Dr. Gavriel Rosenfeld, President of the Center for Jewish History.

A Catalyst for Change at CJH

Gabriel Sanders, Head of Programs and Events at CJH, will serve as the Center’s Bloomberg Tech Fellow. Through this program, Sanders will focus on exploring options for a robust ticketing and customer relationship management (CRM) system to streamline program and event management.

Since its inception, the Bloomberg Philanthropies Digital Accelerator Program has proven to be a transformative resource for cultural organizations. Over the past three years, nearly 150 institutions that participated in earlier cohorts have collectively generated over $20 million in new revenue, reached more than 1 million new audience members, and collaborated with over 4,000 new artists and partners.
