A two-day conference, entitled Democracy and Its Alternatives: The Origins of Israel’s Current Crisis, was held April 7-8 at the Schusterman Center for Israel Studies at Brandeis University. The conference capped the first year of the Schusterman Center’s new Institute for Advanced Israel Studies. This year the Institute was co-hosted by the Center for Jewish History.
